Las Vegas Optical Character Recognition Company

Optical Character Recognition is a software process that recognizes printed text as alphanumeric characters to create searchable files of the actual document’s text. It is general knowledge, however, that this process is not perfect, due to handwritten text and/or poor originals.

Why OCR?

OCRing allows searching for relevant documents by keywords speeds the review process. A study was conducted with a team of paralegals to find 20 names within a document population of 10,000 pages. After 67 hours, the team of paralegals found 15 names out of 20. Through the OCR’d images, the results were 20 names out of 20 names in 4 seconds.
